Most of our guests visit Wärdshuset Klarälvdalen for skiing close by, with Branäs and Långberget just a short drive from our hotel/b&b in Sysslebäck. It’s the perfect location for alpine skiing, cross-country trails and outdoor winter experiences in Northern Värmland.

At the same time, more and more travellers also discover us as a convenient stopover and a nice base when heading further into the mountains for other
ski areas.

Many guests stay with us on their way to popular ski destinations such as Trysil (Norway), Sälen, Kläppen and Stöten. After a good night’s sleep and a homemade breakfast, you can continue your journey well rested and arrive ready for a full day on the slopes.

For travellers heading even further north, we are also an ideal overnight stop on the way to Åre, Idre Fjäll or Vemdalen, making the long journey more comfortable and relaxed.

From the very beginning, Karin and Peter have shared a dream of starting a business abroad. During our holidays, we were always looking for inspiration — exploring new places and imagining where our own adventure might one day begin.
